http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/11/04/AR2009110403016.html

Main Idea: A thirteen year old cat gets diagnosed with swine flu

Authors purpose: To see if Cats can really catch swine flu

Details: * A cat in Iowa has tested positive for H1N1 virus

* First time a cat was ever diagnosed with flu symptoms

* The cat has recovered

* Did not spread the virus to anyone

* Pets should be monitored because they are capable of catching the sickness

Summary: Finding out their cat has H1N1 virus can make the owner erupt in tears. Thankfully there are bactericide that can help the kitty survive. Once a full recovery is made the cat will once again be vivacity.
